SHERRY WARREN Obituary

Sherry Warren, age 43, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Middlesboro A.R.H. Sherry was born on October 19,1980 at the Pineville Community Hospital to the late Jewell Clouse and Fred Jones.

She was a graduate of Bell County High School, and was a loving, caring, great Mother. Sherry would always try to help someone in need. She enjoyed walking in the park, fishing, playing pool and the lake life. You could say she was an “outside” body, who loved to be outdoors. Unfortunately, life threw obstacles at Sherry that she could not beat and that got the best of her. Sherry was an addict for 14 years, and in her final days she asked that her story be told in hopes that it could save or help someone else. Sherry lost everything and burned many bridges along the way. She hurt her children, her sister, and most importantly, she hurt herself. She was at the very bottom and just couldn’t find her way out. Once she realized how bad that it was, she wanted to get help. She attended New Heights Church in Middlesboro, Kentucky where she met some great people: Pastor Jonathan Neely, April Wallace, Shannon Johnson, Tracy Evans, and Paxton Dover. They got her into a treatment center, and she stayed for 67 days. She got out and was back on the streets and back to the old her. Her demons were just too much for her to handle, and she couldn’t fight them anymore. Someone ended up bringing her to the hospital on Friday, April 19, and not long after that she passed away. She wanted people to know just how bad addiction really is. Don’t allow drugs to take over your life.

Sherry is survived by her son, Tanner Grubbs, daughter Rheagan Miller, sister Hope Jones, niece Rylee Gordon, and many uncles, cousins, and others whose lives Sherry touched.

Receiving of Friends & Family will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the New Heights Church from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Neely officiating.
