JAMES PHELPS

James Lonnie Phelps, age 54, a resident of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Middlesboro A.R.H.

He was born November 8, 1969 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to the late Hobart Phelps and Lois Henderson Phelps who survives.

In addition to his father Hobart Phelps, he was preceded in death by one brother David Phelps and one sister Darlene Houston Sanders.

James is survived by his mother Lois Phelps, brothers Chuck Phelps, Don Phelps and Kenny Phelps, sisters Mary Marsee, Brenda Smith and Betty Phelps, son Jacob Partin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Parker officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mountainview Cemetery, on Greers Chapel Road, in Harrogate, Tennessee.  Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Green Hills Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
