SIDNEY PARTIN

Sidney Partin of Frakes, KY, passed away on March 12, 2021 at her home in Frakes. She was born on May 7, 1932 to Cal and Nellie Partin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cecil Partin, son Gary Wayne Partin, stepson Juby Fontana, her parents Cal and Nellie Partin, sisters Sylvia Hurst, Louise Barnett, Bessie Combs, Pearl Wilder and infant sister Shirley Partin, brothers Hillary, Andy and Ernest Partin.

She is survived by her children, Eddie (Edith) Partin, Darrell Partin, Joyce (Chuck) Mason and Linda (Allen) Partin, grandchildren Eric (Amanda) Partin, Brittany Partin (Charlena Hill), Bethany Partin, Tracy Partin (Dotti Hardin) and Darren (Hannah) Partin, step grandchildren Fonda Gross, Robbie and Judy Fontana, great-grandchildren Allie Jo, Anthony and Klara Sidney Partin, sister Sadie (Charles) Coffman, as well as a host of nieces ,nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Sidney was a loving Mom, Mamaw, Great-Mamaw and Friend. She loved with her whole heart and soul. She loved people and had a great sense of humor. She was a spitfire who had a personality as big as a mountain and always kept people laughing. She loved story telling of her past and making it into songs. She loved flowers, eating milk and cornbread, chewing bubble gum and taking naps with the family dog, Cupcake. She was a homemaker, caregiver, nurturer, peacemaker and the center of her family’s world. She will be missed by those who knew her and forever engraved into the hearts of her children!

The family of Sidney Partin will have private Graveside Services in the Jackie Partin Cemetery, Peanut Hollow, Frakes, KY.
