BARBARA MASON

Barbara Jean Mason, age 74, of Frakes, KY, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Pineville Community Health Care Center.

She was born on September 20, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Hoover and Lavetia Spriggs O’Brien.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Patricia Smith and Brenda Edwards and brother-in-law Charles Albert Coon II.

She is survived by the following members of her family, loving husband Rev. Wayland Mason, son Anthony Mason and wife Billie, daughter Tina Thompson and husband Tommy, granddaughters Kristen Mason and Cortney Mason, great-grandsons Declan Mason and Elliott Mason, siblings Charles O’Brien and wife Jakki, Rose Coon, Linda Calloway and husband Shawn and Leonard Wayne O’Brien, as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Fuson Cemetery in Frakes, KY, with Rev. Lee Mahan presiding.
