BETTY JEAN MCARTHUR

Betty Jean McArthur, age 82, of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee passed away November 22,2024 at Tri-State Health and Rehabilitation Center in Harrogate, Tennessee.

She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on November 19, 1942.  She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Juanita Reynolds Bush.

Betty was a proud and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family very much.  She was quiet but possessed a quirky, witty personality that could make you laugh and smile in spite of yourself.  She enjoyed living in the mountains of East Tennessee and was content to just sit back, take in the view, and drink a Dr Pepper.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Elam, Brenda Mulligan, Linda Baker, Cheryl Price, Angela Robins, and Tabith Brenning, her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.  

All services for Betty Jean McArthur will be private.
