Billy Ray Warren, age 76, of Middlesboro, formerly of Straight Creek, Kentucky, went home to be with our Father in heaven on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Middlesboro A.R.H.
He was born in Pineville, Kentucky on November 2, 1949, the son of the late Edna and Virgil Warren
Billy was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Along with his love for his country, Billy also thoroughly enjoyed nature, the mountains and simply being outdoors. He loved life to the fullest and found joy in even the simplest of things. He will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Janice Kay Warren and Alice Warren Cox, brother Tony Silas Warren, niece Christy Dawn Bryant, maternal grandparents Silas and Elsie Jones, paternal grandparents J. Frank Warren Jr. and Maudia Warren.
Survivors include his loving daughter and Caretaker Laura Warren Maiden and Drew, son Jerome Warren and Kim, grandson Dustin Raines and Paige, sisters and their spouses, Virgie Warren and Tony Gamble, Sharon Warren and Richard Calloway, Pamela Warren Bryant, brother James and Perna Warren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends.
The family of Billy Ray Warren will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Jones officiating. Music will be provided by Rosemary Jones.
Graveside Services to immediately follow at Pinelawn Cemetery in Pineville, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Raines, Julian Thompson, Jeremy Thompson, Michael Rice and Drew Maiden.
