Casey Hatfield born February 10, 1963, passed away on August 27, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Charles Lewis and Lucille Hatfield, brother Rick Hatfield, and the mother of his son, Tammy Sulfridge.
Casey loved the Lord with all his heart and enjoyed going to church every time the doors were open. He was a faithful member and trustee at Monarch Church of God. In his younger years, he was an avid swimmer, having won many medals and ribbons swimming for a team sponsored through Middlesboro High School. In his free time, Casey loved walking and enjoyed a good cup of coffee or two.
He is survived by his son Shawn Hatfield and grandchildren Aubrey Hatfield, Brayden Riggs, and Tristan Hatfield, brothers Jeff Hatfield and wife Kay, and Rodney Hatfield and wife Emily, sisters Linda Gambrell and husband Danny, Janice Hatfield, and Cathy Hatfield, all of Middlesboro, Kentucky, a very special aunt Willa Mae Smith, friend Juanita Minor, as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family of Casey Hatfield will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul “Woodie” Gilbert and Rev. Jeff Hatfield presiding. Music will be provided by the Monarch Church of God.
Graveside Services will immediately follow at the Rogerston Cemetery, Clairfield, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Hatfield, Ben Hatfield, Jeffrey Hatfield, Josh Nunn, Charles Nunn, Jayden Simpson, Xavier Simpson, and Cherokee Cowles.
