CATHY VICTORIA HURST

Cathy Victoria Hurst, age 56, of Pineville, Kentucky passed away November 7, 2024, at the Pineville Community Hospital.

She was born in Piqua, Ohio on October 25, 1968, the daughter of Homer Sparks and the late Pauline Partin Sparks.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son Joshua Shird Hurst, brothers Chester Sparks and Terry Sparks, grandfather Harvey Sparks, uncle and aunt Fred and Annie Bannon, mother-in-law Sarah Mae Hurst, and brother-in-law Billy Joe Hurst.

Cathy liked to spend her free time playing games on her phone.  She loved to go fishing whenever she got the opportunity.  She enjoyed sitting back, lighting up and smoking her cigarettes.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and she dearly loved her daughter and grandchildren with all her heart.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Shird Hurst, daughter Summer Hurst Epperson and husband James Epperson, grandchildren Matt L. Hurst, Luke J. Hurst, November Hurst, Joshua Hurst, James Epperson, brothers Mark Sparks, Donnie Sparks, Freddie Sparks, Randy Sparks, Kenny Ray Sparks, sister Sherry Sparks Browning, her special friend Valerie, and a host of other relatives and friends who will forever cherish her in their heart.

All services for Cathy Hurst will be private.
