CATHY MILLER Obituary

Cathy Miracle Bean Miller went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2025 while surrounded by her family that she loved dearly.

She was born November 19, 1956, in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Eugene and Geraldine Miracle.

She was of the Pentecostal faith and never missed a chance to talk about our Lord Jesus Christ.  Her next favorite topic was her family; she was the most devoted mother and grandmother that anyone could ever dream of having.

She loved the Lord fiercely and never passed up a chance to talk about Him to anyone who would lend an ear.  And she would bow her head at the blink of an eye for anyone needing prayer.  She loved to cook and bake and was very talented at crafting and painting. She loved animals and fostered many over the years and never turned down a foster pet in need of a loving home.  Her passion for animals and love for God’s four-legged creatures was passed down to her daughter and grandson; she was so proud that they shared her love for animals.

Cathy put herself through school and went on to be an x-ray technologist in Barbourville, Kentucky. During that time, she met her future husband and moved to Lawrenceburg, Kentucky where she retired from Medicaid Services in Frankfort, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don Miller, her daughter Brandy Ann Bean Hammons who was her whole world, brother Gary Miracle, nephews Brandon Miracle and Gary Miracle, Jr., nieces Crystal Miracle and April Miracle, and her special dogs Colby, Jedi and Abby, and granddogs Jennie, Piper and Phoebe.

Left to mourn her passing are her daughters DeeDee Bean of Middlesboro, Kentucky, Alyshia (Robert) Reid of Middlesboro, Kentucky, special grandson who was her whole world, Tyler Alexander Hammons, granddaughters Stephanie Fultz, Grace Reid, Madalynn Reid who was her special lunch buddy, and Jaxon Reid, all of Middlesboro, Kentucky, sisters Karen (Steve) Shown of Jacksboro, Tennessee, Brenda (Eddie) York of Middlesboro, Kentucky, Patty (Terry) Miracle of Harrogate, Tennessee, Jerry Miracle of Calvin, Kentucky, Jackie Miracle of Caryville, Tennessee, Steve (Rebecca) Miracle of LaFollette, Tennessee, Ann Ayers, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Trula and Junior Davis, her dog Bailey and granddogs Shadow, Lainey and grandcat Duncan, her special friends Mabel Ballenger and Dr. Elizabeth Lucas, as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family of Cathy Miller will receive friends Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Cemetery Chapel in Harrogate, Tennessee.

Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2025, with Bishop Tim Goins presiding.
