CHAD FULTZ

Chad Hayden Fultz, age 43, a resident of Cumberland Gap, TN, went home to be with his Savior on January 15, 2021.

He was born on January 30, 1977 in Chattanooga, TN, the son of the late Dale and Edna Gail Miller Fultz.

Chad was a Probation and Parole Officer for the Tennessee Department of Corrections as well as a Youth Minister at First Christian Church of Middlesboro, KY where he was a member. There are not enough words to describe what a wonderful Husband, Father and person that Chad was. Jolly, compassionate and kind, Chad was a joy to be around and to know. He enjoyed playing guitar and riding his Harley. He was saved at the age of 5 years old, and since then has had a love for learning more about the Lord; in fact, he studied at Clear Creek Bible College and was almost done completing his PhD in Theology from Liberty University Rawlings Divinity School. It was his love for Jesus that continued his pursuit in learning and reading as much as he could about the Bible. It is a great comfort to know that now he does not have to study, but that he is in the presence of his Savior and is living first hand all the things in which he has read.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Gwendolyn Kathleen, maternal grandparents George and Sara Miller, paternal grandparents Cecil and Mildred Fultz and uncle George Miller Jr.

Left to cherish his precious memory, loving wife Lucy Fultz, daughters Isabella Suzette Fultz and Laney Grace Fultz, brother Isaac Fultz, sisters Sara (Corey) Fowler and Amanda (Larry) Markle, mother-in-law Wanda Tuttle, his church family at First Christian Church, co-workers at TDOC,  in addition to a host of many other relatives and friends too numerous to name.

The family of Chad Fultz will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2021 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with a eulogy given by Rev. Bruce White, scripture by Dr. Roy Lucas and a message by Rev. Astor Simpson. Music provided by Steve Partin and Mickey Wilder.

Interment to immediately follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, KY.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Whitaker, Eric Bruce, Bruce White, Rodney Cook, Brian Young, Robert Freeman, Matt Isbell and Tim Knisely.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his fellow Probation and Parole Officers at Tennessee Department of Corrections.
