Charlene “Chark” Whitehead Shuler, age 61, of Pineville, Kentucky, passed away on March 26, 2022 at Hazard A.R.H.
She was born on August 23, 1960 to the late Emanuel Whitehead and Ronella Brock Whitehead who survives.
Chark was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved the Lord and enjoyed watching sermons on T.V. She was married to her loving husband, Frank Shuler, for 41 years and cherished every moment they spent together. Chark never met a stranger, she had a kind, big, and loving heart, and an outgoing personality. She always thought of others and put them before herself. Her light will shine on and all who were blessed to call her family, or a friend will miss her dearly.
In addition to her father, Emanuel Whitehead, she was preceded in death by all of her grandparents.
Left to cherish her memory, husband Frank Shuler, mother Ronella Brock Whitehead, sisters Carol Whitehead and companion Kenneth Holbrook, Barbara Brock and husband Ronald, very special niece and nephew who Chark loved, Tiffany and Emanuel Bippus and Bryan Brock, special friend Breanna Howard, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A special and heartfelt expression of gratitude and thanks to the Hazard A.R.H. nurses who took such good care of Charlene.
The family of Charlene “Chark” Shuler will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Smith and Rev. Ray Collett officiating.
Graveside Services will immediately follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, Kentucky.
