Charles Omer Coffman, age 88, of Pineville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully in his sleep to awaken in the arms of His Savior June 3, 2024 at the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Middlesboro, Kentucky.
He was born May 13, 1936 in Frankfort, Indiana to the late Mike Omer and Sibyl June Coffman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Sadie Coffman, his loving wife of 24 years, sister Sibyl Mae Reynolds, granddaughter Sabrina Walters, and great granddaughter Izabela Martinez.
Charles was a dedicated Christian and wonderful husband and father. He had a great love and zeal for life. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Left to cherish his memory, his children Darla Wilkes, Cynthia Coffman, Judy (Darrell) Mason, Sibyl Hurst, Charles (Shannon) Coffman II, Diane Bell, John (Maria) Coffman, brother David Coffman, special niece Sandra Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for loving and taking great care of Charles over the years. He loved and cherished each and every one of the staff.
The family of Charles Coffman will receive friends Friday, June 7, 2024 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2024 at Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Baird presiding.
Graveside services will follow immediately at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro, Kentucky.
Charles Coffman II, Hunter Brock, Nathan Brock, Johnathan Gambrel, Wayne Coffman, and Deion Coffman will serve as pall bearers.
