Charles Huddleston, age 70, of Fonde, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 27, 2024.
He was born on October 18, 1953 in Pruden, Tennessee.
He loved the Lord and was faithful to his church, Fonde Church of God Mountain Assembly. He loved his family, especially his grandsons, they were his pride and joy. He told everyone about them. He enjoyed spending time in the mountains hunting and digging ginseng.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mable Lyke Huddleston, father, Hughie John Huddleston, three sisters, Ethel Haley, Retha Davis, Freida Sircey, and two brothers, Lewis Huddleston and Johnny Huddleston.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carlena Partin Huddleston, two children, James Huddleston (wife Chelsie), and Teresa Marlow (husband Allen), six grandchildren, Isaiah, Kyle, Raiden, Brinlee Huddleston, Josh and Ethan Marlow, sisters, Patsy Hatfield (husband Donnie), Francis Partin (husband Larry), Ruth May, and Jean Parks, one brother, Lloyd Huddleston, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends at Green Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.
Family and friends will leave from Green Hills Funeral Home in procession for graveside services at the Fonde - Pruden Cemetery in Fonde, Kentucky following the visitation.
