CHASITY THOMAS

Chasity Ann Sweat Thomas, age 36, of New Tazewell, TN. passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 25, 2023 at her home.

She was born December 19, 1986 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Andy Sweat and Carla Crider who survives.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandmother who raised her, Carolyn Sue Brown, Maternal Grandfather, Frank Crider, Paternal Grandparents, Virginia (Polly) Inman and Ed Sweat, brother, Adam Sweat, and Uncles, Charles (Chuck) Sweat, and James (Jim) Sweat. Also preceding her in death was her Great Grandmother Rachael Frazier, Father-In-Law Archie Lewis and numerous Great Aunts and Great Uncles.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Robert Thomas, her children, Kaydence, Nathan, Nevaeh, and Emily Thomas, TN., step-daughter, Tiffany Hughett, Middlesboro, KY., her loving mother, Carla Sue Crider, Louisville, KY.,  brothers, Jonathan Sweat (Emily Scott) of Speedwell, TN., Alex Sweat, Tazewell, TN., special nephew, Andrew Jameson Sweat, Speedwell, TN., special Uncle who was like a father to her, Mark Rutherford (Tammie), Speedwell, TN, special Aunt, Lisa Bailey, Morristown, TN., special Great Uncle Melvin Brown (Debbie), Middlesboro, KY., special cousin Sabrina Sevier (Kenneth), Titusville, FL., and her Mother-In-Law, Lorraine Lewis.

Also left to mourn her passing is a host of great Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.

A graveside service will be held at Ellison Cemetery, 345 Carr Gap Road, Speedwell, Tennessee.  The family will have a visitation at 1:00 p.m.at the cemetery with graveside services to follow on Friday, September 1, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made directly to Green Hills Funeral Home to help with the cost of final arrangements.
