CLABORN WILDER

Claborn Wilder, age 83, of Williams Branch passed away October 13, 2024 at his home with his ever faithful wife at his side.

He was born February 27, 1941 in Bell County, Kentucky to Howard and Isabell Miracle Wilder who preceded him in death.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three children, Jeffery Wilder, Kimberly Wilder, and Karen Wilder, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ewell and Sevie Hoskins.

Claborn was a wonderful Christian gentleman and member of Calvin Primitive Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and church clerk.  He was a faithful member for many years and had a deep love for his church.  In addition to the love he had for his wife and his family, he had a great love for his country.  He proudly served in the United States Army as a Sergeant.

Left to mourn his passing, his loving wife of sixty years, Freeda Hoskins Wilder, brothers Conley (Carol) Wilder and Wendall Wilder, sisters Loretta (Gary) Dorton, Alma McCreary, brothers-in-law Freeman (Loretta) Hoskins, Steve Hoskins, Michael Hoskins, sister-in-law Mary (Randy) Harris, and his church family, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family of Claborn Wilder will receive friends Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Calvin Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Jody Risner and Elder Stacy Risner officiating.  Music will be provided by the Calvin Primitive Baptist Church Singers.

Graveside services to follow immediately at the Miracle Cemetery on Williams Branch with Full Military Honors.
