Clyde Arthur Russell, Sr., age 80, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away April 9, 2025 at the Middlesboro A.R.H. Hospital.
He was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on December 7, 1944 to parents, James and Agnes Miracle Russell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Vondale Russell and David Russell, sister Ina Crigger, and twin daughters Heather Russell and April Russell.
Clyde was saved by the blood of Jesus Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and was a loyal friend to all who knew him. He was a hard-working man, and he strived to provide well for his family. He spent many years working for Delta Natural Gas Company.
Left to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 59 years, Glenda Daniels Russell, son Clyde (Julie) Russell, Jr., grandchildren Clyde Jarod (Destiny) Russell and Bethany Susanne Russell, great-granddaughter Eden Reign Russell, brothers Doyle (Cindy) Russell and Chuck Russell, sisters Deanie Farmer and Teresa Sanders, special friends Alan Heath and Steve Billingsley, his co-workers at Delta Gas, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and cherished friends who will miss him dearly.
The family of Clyde Arthur Russell, Sr. will receive friends Sunday, April 13, 2025 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Fuson and Rev. Tony Angel presiding. Music will be provided by the Red Oak Church Choir and Teresa Angel.
Graveside services will follow at Mountainview Cemetery in Harrogate, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be Jarod Russell, Jordan Russell, Jeremiah Russell, Chuck Russell, Jeff Denny, and David Russell.
