CORA MCHARGUE

Cora Rhymer Mchargue, age 73 of Hulen, Kentucky, went home to be with Lord April 14, 2022 at the St. Joseph Medical Center in London, Kentucky.

She was born in Cumberland, Kentucky to the late Nannie and Milburn Rhymer.  Cora loved her family  and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She attended Tugglesville Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnny Mchargue, Sons Matthew Smith, Billy Smith and Infant Twins, Sisters Geneva Zachary, Wanda Eldridge, Mildred Jean Rhymer and Brother Jack Rhymer.

She is survived by he Sons Johnathan Smith and wife Laine of Irvine, KY, Joshua Milburn Smith of Hulen, KY, Daughters Susan Howard and husband Jason of Pineville, KY, Elizabeth Smith of Hulen, KY,  Grandchildren Katelyn Hurst, Cortney Hurst and Ryan Hurst, Paige Smith, Nikki Smith, Cody Smith, Lauren Smith and Andrew Williams, sisters Kathy Ellis, Christine Overton, Mary Sue Calton and husband Kenny, and Wilma Golden, brother Rufus Rhymer and wife Marianne, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of St. Joseph Hospital of London.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2022 at the Tugglesville Baptist Church in Hulen, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Tugglesville Baptist Church with Rev. David Hoskins and Rev. David Howard presiding.

Graveside Services will immediately follow at the Alva Memorial Gardens, Blackstar, Kentucky.
