Covie Lynn Brown, 68, of Hulen, Kentucky, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 26, 2025.
She was born on February 16, 1957 in Pineville, Kentucky and was the daughter of Kenneth and Irene Harris Jones.
She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Jones and her papaw James Jones.
Covie was a godly Christian woman and was a faithful member of Town Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her precious family and treasured her children and grandchildren whom she held close to her heart. She thoroughly enjoyed sitting on her back porch relaxing and visiting with friends, family, and neighbors.
Left to mourn her passing, Belve Brown, Jr., her beloved husband of 52 years, her mother Irene Jones, her sons Belve “Peanut” Brown, III, and wife Kimberly, Jason Brown, and wife Jennifer, daughter Jennifer Brown Wilder, and husband, Trent, brothers Kenneth Roger Jones, Rick Jones, and Jamie Jones, sisters Judy Taylor, Lisa Burke, and Donna Robbins, grandchildren Jordie Delaney Brown, Jason Brown, Jr., Jake Brown, Payton Brown, Candice Morgan, Dylan Wilder, and Blake Wilder, great-grandchildren Riley Morgan, Raiden Morgan, Jayce Brown, and Elijah Brown, special nieces Michelle Brown, Gail Wilder, and Jodi Keith, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who will miss her dearly.
The family of Covie Brown will receive friends Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Town Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Speedwell, Tennessee.
The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Junior Albright and Rev. John Brown officiating. Music will be provided by Charlie and Shirley Dummitt, and Macey Long.
