CURTIS RAY MAYES

Curtis Ray Mayes, age 66, of Speedwell, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2024 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

He was born August 10, 1957 to the late Ralph and Josephine Mayes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Kathy Williams and his nephew Leman Ward, Jr.

Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife, of 45 years, Bernice Mayes, brothers Mitchell (Lisa) Mayes, Kenneth Mayes, Michael Mayes, sister Priscilla Ward, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family of Curtis Ray Mayes will receive friends Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Dunn officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.at the Oakview Cemetery in Middlesboro, Kentucky.
