DANNY COLLINS

Danny Milton Collins, age 74 a resident of Middlesboro, KY went home to be with the Lord August 22, 2021 at the VA Hospital in Johnson City, TN. 

He was born January 10, 1947 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Kerney Milton Collins and Callie Hunley Collins.  Danny served his country proudly in the United States Army in Vietnam.  He was of the Baptist Faith.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years Carolyn Nash Collins, his parents Kerney Milton Collins and Callie Hunley Collins, Brothers Darvin Collins, Matthew Collins and Buster Collins, Sisters Shirley Collins Sowders and Opal Proffitt

He is survived by his Daughters Jenny Collins King and husband Jeff, Shannon Collins, Grandchildren Lyndee King and Trenton Lasiter, Sisters Sadie Collins Spradlin, Liz Morgan, Mary Allen and Bertha Dameron and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Donnie Bannister.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens with full military honors.  The family will leave in procession at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday from the Green Hills Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Vanover, Trenton Lasiter, Jeremy Powers, Donny King, Derrick Miracle and Jason Spangler.
