DARYL WAYNE LAMBDIN, JR

Daryl Wayne Lambdin, Jr., cherished son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and cousin, was born in Pineville, Kentucky, on June 27, 1991. He passed away unexpectedly in his home in Frakes, Kentucky, on October 30, 2024, at the age of 33.

D.J., as he was fondly known, faced numerous challenges throughout his life, battling major medical issues and experiencing countless seizures. Despite these hardships, he remained one of the sweetest and most kind-hearted individuals anyone could meet. He approached life with unwavering positivity, never complaining or uttering a negative word about the difficulties he endured.

D.J. had a passion for playing video games and watching movies, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved his family wholeheartedly, with a special bond to his beloved mother, Patricia Ann Powers, who devoted herself as a single mother to caring for him. His warmth and happiness were a light to those around him.

D.J. is preceded in death by his father, Daryl Wayne Lambdin, and his grandparents, Della and Arlie Lambdin. He leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Patricia Ann Powers; his sister, Carla Ann Hurst and brother in law Justin Hurst, his half-brother, Ryan Lambdin; his niece Haley Hurst, and two nephews, Caleb and Austin Hurst. He also leaves behind his grandparents; Floyd and Barbara Partin, his aunt, Pamela Partin; uncles, Keith Partin, Jerry, Carl Lee, Tom, and Junior Lambdin; and two close cousins, Matthew and Elliott Hubbard, along with a host of family.

D.J.'s spirit and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He will forever be remembered for his love, strength, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him.
