DEBORAH LYNNE BARTLEY

Deborah Lynne Bartley, age 73, of New Tazewell, Tennessee passed away August 9, 2025 at the Claiborne County Medical Center.

She was born on September 8, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents, Albert Jacob and Wilma June Long Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Bartley.

Deborah had a heart full of love and affection for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She loved them absolutely and unconditionally.  She was known for her kindness and generosity; she was a very selfless person who always put her family’s needs before her own.  Deborah had a green thumb and enjoyed taking care of her greenery and houseplants. 

Left to mourn her passing, her son Melvin “Tater” McNew (Claire), daughters Lisa Teague and Ginger McNew (Brian), brother Jimmy Jay Davis (Debbie), sisters Carolyn Sue Robinson (Jimmy), and Donna Jo Miller, grandchildren Jacob Wigfield, Joshua Wigfield, April Dawn McNew (Tristan), Miles Craycraft, great-grandchildren Aaliyah Wigfield, Alayna Wigfield, Bronson Wigfield, Luther Carroll, Theodora Daniels, nephew Casey (Kim) Robinson, and many other relatives and special friends who will miss her dearly.

The family of Deborah Lynne Bartley will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Padgett presiding.

Graveside Services will immediately follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Wigfield, Joshua Wigfield, Tristan Daniels, Brian Craycraft, Randall McNew, and Melvin "Tater" McNew.
