DELLA MURPHY

Della Murphy of Frakes, Kentucky passed away August 8, 2025 at the age of 88.  She had been a resident of Middlesboro Nursing and Rehab Facility for several years.

Della, the daughter of Floyd and Lee Oma Harp Miracle, was born on May 4, 1937 in Bell County, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lee Ona Miracle, son Charles A. Partin, and siblings Tom, Siler, A.E., Virgie, Magnolia, Dora, John, Wesley, Jasper, Houston, Othella, Verda Raye, Chesley, Jeanette, Alvie, Geneva, and Ben.

Della was of the Baptist faith and was a very hard-working woman who always strived to make sure that her family was provided for. She enjoyed traveling and getting to see new places and to revisit her favorite spots.  She loved her family with her whole heart and always enjoyed moments spent together.

She is survived by her son Elvis P. Partin, brothers Nevil (Dorothy) Miracle and Phillip (Clara) Miracle, sisters Janie (Bill) Partin and Betsy (James) Hickman, grandchildren Shawn Partin, Alexia Partin, Wesley Partin, Megan Partin, Molly Partin, and a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives and cherished friends who will miss her dearly.

The family of Della Murphy will receive friends at Green Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Fuson and Rev. Ken Kishpaugh officiating.  Music will be provided by the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church Choir.

Graveside Services will immediately follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, Kentucky.
