Dinah Diane Smith, age 56, a resident of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away on December 12, 2025 at her home.
She was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on December 13, 1968, to the late William Harvey and Shirley Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Mackie Smith and William A. Smith.
Diane had a heart full of love for other people – always ready to help anyone in need. Her love especially extended to her family, and they knew she was always there for them. Diane was dependable and willing to show up for others, do what needed to be done, and make sure all needs were met. Her big heart that flowed full of love and care will be remembered by all those who were blessed to call her family and friend.
Left to cherish her memory, son Tim Cheek (Datina), sister Sherry Hill (Bobby), significant other Hillary Cheek, grandchild Shawn Russell, special honorary daughter Brynlee Hatfield, favorite uncle Danny Ray Smith, nieces Alicia Norris, Myrtie Shackleford and Jessica Saylor, nephews William Hill, Clayton Shackleford and Chris Smith, special grand-nephew Leo Norris, sister-in-law Rhonda Smith, best friend Crystal Cornett, as well as a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to name, but all who will miss her so much.
The family of Diane Smith will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Neely presiding.
Graveside Services to immediately follow at the Smith Cemetery, Middlesboro, Kentucky.
