DONNIE EDWARD FUSON

Donnie Edward Fuson, age 62, of Speedwell, Tennessee passed away September 2, 2024 at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital.

He was born December 5, 1961 in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late Bobby Lee and Omega Sexton Fuson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mitsey Fuson.

Donnie was an avid fisherman and loved being at the lake and on the lake casting a line and pulling in a big catch.  He had a big heart, enjoyed helping anyone in need, and was generous to a fault.  He treasured any time that he spent with his grandchildren, especially Gabriel, who held a special place in his heart.  But most importantly, Donnie was gloriously saved twelve days before he passed away and we are encouraged to know that he is now with His Savior.

He leaves behind his daughter Jessica Collins (Manuel Lopez), sons Jimmy Smith and Michael Smith, brothers Patrick Fuson (Nancy Kay), Stephen Fuson (Kathy), David Guy (Irma), sisters Debbie Patterson, Patsy Howard, grandchildren Cameron, Katie, Carra, Scarlet, Gabriel, Jasper, Brandon, Jackson, great grandchild Amelia, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and other friends who will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 5:30p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted Thursday, September 12, 2024 7:00p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Parker officiating.
