DOROTHY LEE RICH KRAATZ

Dorothy Lee Rich Kraatz, age 67, of Speedwell, Tennessee passed away June 20, 2024 at her home.

She was born on June 19, 1957 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to the late Fred and Opal Bowling Rich.

Dorothy retired after teaching special education for thirty years.  She was a favorite among all the students and the staff in the Middlesboro School District.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Tina Rich Feck, her first husband Harry Timberman, and her second husband Peter Kraatz.

She leaves behind sisters Carolyn Grigbsy and husband George Grigsby, Cathy Brock and husband Roy Brock, June Thompson, brother Leonard Rich and wife Becky Rich, special nephew Jimmy Stone, her beloved dog Blue, daughter Kristi Short, grandchildren Destiny and Hope, one great grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many special friends who will miss her dearly.

All services for Dorothy Kraatz will be private.
