DOROTHY MIRACLE

Dorothy Carolyn Maiden Miracle, age 72, Pineville, KY, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 at her home.

She was born October 12, 1953 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Arnold Edward and Minnie Frazier Maiden.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Sue Maiden Lewis and 2 brothers Levi Hensley “L.H.” Maiden and Charles Edward Maiden.

Dorothy was a longtime member of the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church, where she faithfully attended and loved singing in the choir.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Nevil Miracle, sons Adam Bryant Miracle and wife Renee, Morgan Nevil Miracle, grandchildren Chasity Wilson, Bethany Johnson, Ashton Miracle, Andrew Miracle, great-grandchildren Brynlee Johnson, Kamyrn Miracle, Tatum Miracle, sisters Sarah Maiden and husband Billy, Evelyn Joyce Maiden, Catherine Maiden Miles, Joanne Maiden Mitchell, Nancy Clemmen Maiden Crutchfield and husband Steve, Frankie Elaine Maiden Blackburn, brother-in-law Mike Lewis and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the Green Hills Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Collett and Rev. Jordan Graves officiating.  Music will be provided by the New Vine Church Singers.

Graveside services will be held at the Richard Partin Cemetery on Lower Laurel Fork at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026.  Pallbearers will be Todd Fuson, Austin Fuson, Keean Fuson, Ashton Cole Miracle, Logan Blackburn, Randy Partin and Dewey Dixon.
