DORTHEA BUTTERY Obituary

Dorthea Buttery, age 90, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

She was born in on May 31, 1931 to the late Charles and Office McFarland Cupp.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, children Charlotte Ashmill, Carolyn Davis, Tommy Blackburn and an infant child, granddaughter Melissa Jones, 2 Grandson and 1 Granddaughter.

She is survived by her son Charles Blackburn, sister Faye Newbauer, as well as many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mara and the nurses at Heartlite Hospice of Ellijay, Georgia for their excellent care of Dorthea while she was there.

Per Mrs. Buttery’s request, all services will be private.
