ELBERT CUPP

Elbert Cupp, of Ewing, VA, passed away on August 1, 2021 at the age of 64. He was born to the late Jake and Cora Wilder Cupp on November 8, 1956.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Cupp, brothers Roy Cupp and Silas Cupp, sisters Effie Miracle and Joann Daniels.

Left to cherish his memory, loving children Vince and Christy Cupp of Pineville, KY, Lora and Mark Ayers of Cumberland Gap, TN, Christina Day of Rose Hill, VA, Bobby and Samantha Cupp of Ewing, VA, Angela and David Seals of Tazewell, TN, Eric and Jessica Cupp of Rose Hill, VA, and Tiffany Cupp of Ewing, VA, twenty-two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brother Woodrow Cupp, sister Loretta Warf, as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family of Elbert Cupp will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Belcher presiding.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Elydale Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Ewing, VA.

Pallbearers will be Brad Rich, Mark Ayers, Little Mark, David Seals, Alex Ayers, Steven Yeary and James Baumgardner.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great-grandsons.
