ESTHER LOU WEBB

Esther Lou Webb, age 88, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on April 5, 2026.

She was born March 11, 1938 in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee to the late Lucas and Flora Mae Shoffner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyson Webb.

Esther was a loving a Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She enjoyed being with her family – especially her grandchildren – whom she adored. In her earlier years, growing up on a farm instilled a strong work ethic in Esther. She never lost that hard-working mentality, and she never shied away from labor. As she raised her own family, she worked from daylight to dark at the Middlesboro Tanning Co, where she stayed for many years until her retirement.

Most importantly in Esther’s life though was her love and dedication to the Lord. She absolutely loved attending church at Trinity Baptist Church anytime the doors were open and found true joy in worshipping the Lord. We find comfort in knowing that her unwavering faith has now become sight.

Left to cherish her memory, son Glenn Webb Jr. and wife Tammy, daughter Sonya Farmer and husband Frankie, brothers Doyle Shoffner and Joe Shoffner, sisters Ruth Cornell and Lassie Kidwell, grandchildren Chris Webb and Jake Farmer, great-granddaughter Ava Webb, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to name but all who will miss her so dearly.

The family of Esther Webb will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Medley presiding.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Oakview/Yeary Cemetery.
