Eureatha Elmore, age 80, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 while surrounded by her family.
She was born on December 1, 1940 in Eagan, Tennessee to the late Ira and Louise Hensley Turner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Beatrice Evans and Ruby Houston.
Eureatha was a woman a faith who loved the Lord. She also loved her family dearly and listening to gospel music. She belonged to Richardson Chapel Baptist Church where she enjoyed attending.
Left to cherish her memory, son James Parrott, daughter Jo Ann Bolt and husband Greg, sisters Barbara Sue Dunn and Mary Louise McManaway, grandchildren April Wallace, Jeremiah Wallace, and Ethan Parrott, great-grandchildren Chase Gregory, Destiny Gregory and Aubrey Wallace, niece Peggy Cox and husband Charles, special caretaker and friend Pam Goins, special friend Chip Cunningham, as well as other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family of Eureatha Elmore will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
A Memorial Service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chip Cunningham officiating.
