Forrester Leon Ingram, age 80, of Middlesboro, Kentucky went to his heavenly home August 12, 2025. He was born in Bell County, Kentucky May 30, 1945 and served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses and Sudie Wilder Ingram, his precious wife and mother of his children, Sharlene Ingram and their son Dewayne Ingram, brother William Ingram, sisters Ann Roark and Dean Tacket, and nephew Doug Miracle.
“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” Leon not only loved the Lord and reading his bible; he lived it. He was known for his love and charity; he was generous to his family and friends and gave gifts to show his love and kindness. He was a humble man but was very wise and knowledgeable about scripture, gardening, and the signs of nature. He enjoyed feeding the woodland creatures around his homeplace and took pride in his apple orchard. He shared the fruits of labor with his friends and neighbors; everyone looked forward to apple time and Leon’s sweet juicy apples.
Left to cherish his memory, his children Joseph Ingram (Christina), Stacey Ingram (Shannon), Stanley Ingram (Elaine), Ginger Perry (Greg), brothers Houston Ingram (Brenda), Hasten Ingram (Linda), Ben Ingram, Ira Ingram (Susan), sisters Beulah Brewer, Ethel Miracle, Jaylaine Roark, grandchildren Samantha Jennings, Ray Mason (Emma), Zachary Ingram (Ashley), Morgan Gregory (Johnathan), Emily Teaster (Landon), Jasmine Crawford (Trae), Christy Dotson, Isaiah Ingram, Jaelyn Hatfield, great-grandchildren Kaelen Good, Madison Good, Emerie Gregory, Eli Gregory, Elliott Gregory, Jase Crawford, Axton Ingram, Brayden Cup, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.
