GARY WAYNE GOODMAN

Gary Wayne Goodman, 57, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away on April 3, 2025. He was born on December 9, 1967, to Lula and Bill Goodman, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Randall Goodman and Cotton Goodman, and sister-in-law Kim Goodman.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Trinity Gilmore, whom he loved with all his heart. He is also survived by his sister Kay Smiddy, brothers Richard Goodman and Billy Goodman, cousin Scotty Ayers, his best friend Rodney Moyers, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Gary was a man of quiet strength and deep loyalty to those he cared about. Strong-willed and unafraid to speak his mind, he carried himself with a straightforward honesty that defined him. He lived life simply, without pretense, and found comfort in the people he trusted most. He faced life’s ups and downs with a kind of steadiness that left a mark on those around him.

Though life threw him many challenges, Gary faced them head-on. In the moments that mattered most, he showed up. To those who knew him best, he will be remembered for his resilience, his steadiness, and the love he held for his family.

The family of Gary Goodman will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Green Hills Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service to follow.

Inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Hurst Cemetery, Middlesboro, Kentucky.
