GELENA FUNK

Gelena Saylor Funk, age 79, of Middlesboro, Ky went home to be with her Lord on Thursday August 22, 2024. Gelena was born on October 6, 1944 to the late John Henery Belcher and Tishie Belcher.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband Frank Funk, Father of her 7 children William E. Smith, Sons  James and Billy Smith, Siblings Daniel Belcher and Geniva Govsey.

She is survived by her Children Tammy, Carl, Shirley, Joanna, Debbie and Beth Joe,

17 Grandchildren Joey, Michelle, Junior, Jesse, Mark, Jon Ron, Shannon, Mae, Lynn, Sammie, Lauren, Tiffany, Jasmine, Brittany, Joseph IV, Chris and Elizabeth,

 55 Great-Grandchildren Amanda, Jordon, Joseph, Dallas, Trinity, Donnie, Whitney, Brittany, Kendra, Nathan, Honesty, Austin, Allen, Alex, Charity, MaKayla, Ragen, Isaiah, Riley, Aubrey, Dixie, Logan, Paislee, Evelyn, Levi, Emeire, Aaliyah, Selena, Joshua, Gabby, AJ, Bryson, Camillion, Julion, Molly, Bentley, MaKaylynn, Aniyah, Raelyn, Gabriel, Jaden, Makaylee, Kyler, Jacup, Maylee, Kenslee, Klohe, Joseph V, Stoney, Crew, Noah, Jasper, Wynter, Xandria, Darci and Eva.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2024 at the Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2024 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, Kentucky.
