Genevieve Turner, age 79 of Pineville, Kentucky went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 21, 2024.
She was born in Pineville, Kentucky on February 4, 1945, to Sol T. and Mary Louise Mason who precede her in death.
Genevieve loved the Lord and was a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church. She had a passion for cooking and was often found in her kitchen preparing delicious meals for her family. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved to spend time with them.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Vania Miracle and Polly Jackson, and her brothers, Ed Mason, Jessie Mason, and Tinsley Mason.
Left to cherish her sweet memory and mourn her passing, her sons Eddie (Missy) Turner, Tommy (Christal) Turner, daughters, Louise (James) Baker, Deanna Campbell, Pam (Mike) Hoskins, and Debbie (Charles) Miller, brother Frank (Phyllis) Mason, sister Rosie Givens, grandchildren Tiffany (Josh) McBee, Nolan Baker, Jessica (George) Smith, Justin Campbell, Lauren Clark, Rebekah Campbell, Brandon (Kayla) Hoskins, Brian (Haylee) Hoskins, Brianna Hoskins, Cody Miller, Tyler Miller, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who will miss her so much.
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the love and attention they gave their mother while she was in their care.
The family of Genevieve Turner will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
