GLENDA RAINS

Glenda Ruth Rains, age 76 passed away August 27, 2021 at the Barbourville A.R.H.

She was born March 30, 1945 in Monroe, MI to the late Clara and Jessie Bean. She attended Millers Chapel Baptist Church.  Glenda was very involved and enjoyed all the activities at the Harrogate Senior Citizen Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Raines, parents Clara and Jessie Bean, brothers Art Bean, Bobby Bean, Billy Bean and great-grandson Paul Turner.

Glenda is survived by her children Paula and Larry Goodman of Middlesboro, KY, Bill and Johnnie Sue Rains of Lafollette, TN, Gary and Tracy Rains of Tazewell, TN, Wendy Rains and Phil Baity of Salisbury, NC, Jamie and Sue Rains of Tazewell, TN Chris and Kendra Rains of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren Josh and Rosa Turner, Duane and Juana Turner, Monica Turner and Joel Henley all of Mooresville, NC, Brandon and Chasity Rains of Stoney Fork, KY, Nikki Rains of Middlesboro, KY, Courtney Shackleford of Arthur, TN, Garrett and Colton Rains of Tazewell, TN, Sarah Farley of Lexington, KY, Kadeen Hayes of Lafollette, TN, Amber Maiden of Pineville, KY, Trevor Keyes of Lafollette, TN, brothers Danny Bean of Harrogate, TN, sister Trula Davis of Harrogate, TN, special sister-in-law Lynn Bean of Harrogate, TN, great-grandchildren  Justin and Skylar Turner, Matthew and Isabella Turner, Bethany and Macy Henley of Mooresville, NC, Samantha and Katie Grace Farley of Lexington, KY, Annabelle and Hunter Rains of Stoney Fork, KY, Gavin and Paisley Walker of Forge Ridge, TN, Morgan Lawson and Jenna Lynne Baker both of Middlesboro, KY, and a host of other family and friends and her second family at the Harrogate Senior Center.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Thompson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mountainview Cemetery in Harrogate, TN.
