Bud was a faithful member of West Cumberland Avenue Baptist Church, where he worshiped for more than 40 years. His faith was central to his life, which brought him great joy and comfort. For over 40 years, Bud worked in many roles in various coal mines throughout the region until he retired from Consolidation Coal Company in 1997, where he worked as an electrician. He loved spending time outdoors, whether that be working around his property or restoring antique cars. Above all, Bud treasured time spent with his family.
