IVA DELL ROSENBALM

Iva Dell Rosenbalm, age 88, of New Tazewell, Tennessee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 20, 2024, with her family at her side.

She was born on October 19,1936 in Sneedville, Tennessee to the late John Morrison Reed and Mary Helton Reed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Rev. Carlos Herbert Rosenbalm, several siblings, and great-grandchildren Benjamin Jacob and Kylie Grace.

Iva attended Straight Creek Baptist Church and was their oldest member.  She loved the holidays and especially loved the festivities that surrounded Thanksgiving Day, the Christmas season, and the 4th of July.  She was always at her happiest when she was with her family and her church family.

She leaves behind her children Barbara (Carl Wayne) Yoakum, and Nancy (Eauion) Bailey, grandchildren Marietta (Steve) Wells, Amanda Bailey (Travis Evans), Steven (Leslie) Bailey, great-grandchildren Emily Cruz, Melissa Bailey, Chelsea Bailey, and Brody Evans, aa well as a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family of Iva Rosenbalm will receive friends Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Straight Creek Baptist Church in New Tazewell, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Straight Creek Baptist Church.

Graveside services will immediately follow at Burch Cemetery in New Tazewell, Tennessee.  Her family and deacons of Straight Creek Baptist Church will serve as pall bearers.
