JAMES "JIMMY" MIRACLE

James “Jimmy” Miracle, age 82, of Tazewell, Tennessee passed away May 10, 2026.

Jimmy was born on November 6, 1943 in Bell County, Kentucky to James Sewell and Clemon Campbell Miracle.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Tammy Miracle, brother Rowland Miracle, brother-in-law Terry Redmond, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Marshall and Margaret Montgomery.

Anyone who knew Jimmy knew that he was a joy to be around; he got up every morning singing and went to bed every night singing a song.  He loved life and loved big.  Jimmy was a wonderful father and grandfather, and a great brother.  He loved a good meal and he loved to eat.  He was a huge University of Kentucky fan and loved the Wildcats.  He enjoyed listening to country music and would sing right along.  He loved and supported his family, working at Mountain Drive Coal for over 20 years.

He leaves behind the love of his life, Beverly Miracle, his wife of 62 years, sons Mike  Miracle and wife Crystal, Steve Miracle and wife Dawn, grandson who he raised as his son Tyler Miracle and fiancé Jimberly Hubbard, grandchildren Makenzie Helton and husband Devon, Logan Miracle and wife Cassidy, Dalton Miracle, Makinley Miracle, Braycen Miracle, Juden Miracle, Makaela Hamilton, step-grandchildren Kayla Sizemore, Jayden Sizemore, great granddaughter Addie Rae Helton, sisters Marlene Standifer and husband Harold, Brenda Redmond, Bonnie Barnett, special nephew Madison Barnett, special lifelong best friend Carson Arnett, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many special friends who will miss him dearly.

The family of James “Jimmy” Miracle will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. in the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Garry Bingham presiding.
