JAMES "JIMMY" LEACH Obituary

James “Jimmy” Leach, age 77 of Frakes, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2021.

He was born in Eagan, Tennessee on December 11, 1943 to the late Harve and Marie Kemplen Leach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Jeanette Reedy, Shirley Williams, infant brother Harold Leach, and special nephew Mike Cobb.

Jimmy was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. He was a hard-working man who enjoyed operating heavy equipment and driving a coal truck. He was a Big Blue UK fan and had a passion for classic cars. He absolutely loved getting to spend time with his family, friends and his three special dogs Buddy, Rastus and Doxie. Jimmy will be missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory, daughter Tonya Hammons and her husband Teddy, son Mickey Leach and wife Jacqueline, sisters Joyce Cobb Partin, and Doris June Neely, special nephews Stevie Cobb and Rocky Cobb, mother of his children Freeda Leach, as well as a host of many other relatives and special friends.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Maiden Cemetery, Frakes, KY with Rev. Bernley Lambdin and Rev. Johnny Parker officiating.

Pallbearers will be Rocky Cobb, Bobby Hurst, Teddy Hammons, James Boatright, Gabe Powers and Rick Fuson.
