JENNIFER LYNN SMITH

Jennifer Lynn Stuart Smith, age 70, passed away on December 24, 2025 in Harrogate, Tennessee.

She was born on April 15, 1955 in Pineville, Kentucky to Edna and Floyd Stuart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Stuart Smith; and her baby infant daughter Smith.

 Jennifer was a retired registered nurse who dedicated her career to caring for others.  She enjoyed gardening, quilting, reading, spending time with her family, and trips to the beach.

She is survived by her husband, Fred R. Smith; her children, Jason (Cindy) Smith and Carabeth (Sean) Vandergriff; her grandchildren, Peyton Smith, Tanner Smith, Emily Vandergriff, Addison Vandergriff, and Ben Vandergriff; and her siblings, Rhonda (Steve) Bilyeu and Shawn (Nikki) Stuart.

Family graveside services will be conducted by Rev. David King, Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the Harrogate Cemetery in Harrogate, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to request that a memorial donation in Jennifer’s memory be made to St. Jude’s or The Gideons.
