Joan Davis Wallen, age 65, of Middlesboro, passed away peacefully September 6, 2024 at the Barbourville A.R.H. Hospital surrounded by her children.
She was preceded in death by Ronnie Wallen, her loving husband of 45 years and her father Damon Dee Davis.
She is survived by her mother Lorene Davis, sons Kevin Wallen (Jamon), Brandon Wallen, daughter Ashley Wallen, grandchildren Damon Wallen, Addison Miracle, Katherine Wallen, Alexis Miracle, Amelia Miracle, sisters Jeanne Coatney (Mike), Marilyn Haynes (Kenny), Kathy Money (Michael), Lora Davis, special nieces Megan Coatney, Kristin Money, great nieces and great nephews Shilah, Landon, Raegan, Palmer, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Born October 5, 1958 in Jellico, Tennessee, the oldest of five daughters, Joan possessed a caring heart and was a great listener; she saw to the needs of others before her own, she always put everyone else first. She was a loving mother who cherished her children and grandchildren, and was a loving, devoted wife. Joan had a green thumb, growing the prettiest flowers; as an excellently skilled seamstress, she was sought out by many in the community for her talent with needle and thread.
All services for Joan Wallen will be private.
