JOE HELMS Obituary

Joe Lee Helms, age 74, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Claiborne County Medical Center in Tazewell, Tennessee.

Joe was born March 31, 1946 in Middlesboro, Kentucky the son of the late Jerry and Maggie Lee Cole Helms.

In addition to his parents Jerry and Maggie Helms, he was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Sue Helms and Brother Douglas “June Bug” Helms.

He is survived by his brothers Gene Helms, Jim Helms and his wife Nancy, Jack Helms and his wife Ruby, Doug Helms and his wife Tina and Dan Helms nieces Jaunita Rogers, Rebecca and Jason Hensley, Bobbie Jo Perry, India Nicks and Samantha Medarris, nephews Leron Helms, Matthew Helms, Jimmy Hamlin, Jimmy Rogers, Sammy Perry and James Dwyer and sister-in-law Linda Helms.

A Private Graveside service will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Lynch Cemetery in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is honored to serve the Helms Family.
