John Avery Wilder, age 60, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away November 18, 2024, at his home.
He was born on December 9, 1963, in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Andy Wilder and Katherine Fuson Wilder who survives.
He was also preceded in death by his niece Jennifer Smith.
John possessed a quiet soul and was quite content to stay at home. He had a deep love for his family and enjoyed any time that he could spend with them.
He is survived by his mother, Katherine Wilder, sons Eric Wilder and Josh (Shauna) Wilder, daughter Caitlin (Robert) Wilson, sisters Juanita Wilder, Kathy Howard, and Janice (McKinley) Miracle, grandchildren Adalynn Wilson, Lydia Wilson, and Natalee Wilson, nephews Mark Miracle and Shawn Miracle, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family of John Wilder will receive friends at Green Hills Funeral Home on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm. at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Miracle officiating. Music will be provided by the Brownies Creek Choir.
Graveside services will follow at the Cubbage Cemetery in Miracle, Kentucky.
Josh Wilder, Robert Wilson, Shawn Miracle, and Mark Miracle will serve as pall bearers.
Per request of the family, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Green Hills Funeral Home to help with expenses.
