JOHNNY GOINS

Johnny Ray Goins, age 67, of Tazewell, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026.

Johnny was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Elaine Dyer, stepson Christopher Jones, son Allen Goins, stepmother (Nan) Billie Dameron, brother Steve Dyer, sister Diane Smith, and sister Carrie Payne.

He is survived by his father, Claude Dyer of Tazewell, TN., sister Mary and husband Clayton Campbell of Middlesboro, KY., sister Kathy and husband Mike Keck of Tazewell, TN., sister Becky Ayers of Tazewell, TN., sister Beth and husband Steve Barton, daughter Misty Williams of Tazewell, TN., son Timothy and wife LeeAnn Goins of Harrogate, TN., son Jivonni Goins and fiancé Danielle Hopper.

Grandchildren Dylan Williams, Matthew and wife Bethany Goins, Katelyn and husband Luke Walker, Isabella Goins, Jaxson Mundy, Alexandria O’Quinn, Olivia Hopper and one great-granddaughter Loralee Walker.

Johnny leaves behind a host of family and friends to mourn his passing.

The family of Johnny Goins will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Harrogate Christian Tabernacle Church, 332 Arthur Road, Cumberland Gap, Tennessee 37724.

A Memorial Service will follow at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Green Hills Funeral Home on behalf of the family of Johnny Goins.
