JULIA KAY HOSKINS

Julia Kay Davis Hoskins, age 78, of Pineville, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2025 at her home.

She was born May 17, 1946 in Bell County to the late Lloyd and Mae Hurst Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Hoskins, son Eric Dean Hoskins, and siblings Maxine Collins, Helen Robbins, Betty Thore, Joe Henry Davis, Juanita Collins, James Everett Davis, Mary Hoskins and Myrtle “Birdie” Robertson.

Kay was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. A woman of strong faith, she loved nothing more than worshipping the Lord and watching church services daily. She enjoyed tuning into many church services online after she was unable to attend church in person. Kay had a heart of gold, always encouraging and supportive of her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed caring for neighbors, friends, her church family and siblings. In later years, that may have been expressed by making fudge or a cake, but it thrilled her to make others happy. Her memory will be cherished forever by her family, and her love for the Lord and those around her will always be a light unto us all.

Left to cherish her memory, loving children Scott Hoskins and wife Jane, and Belinda Brock and husband Craig, grandchildren Ashley Nicole Hoskins, Evan Thomas Brock, Madison Cecile Brock and Ethan Walker Brock, great-grandchildren Hadley True Hoskins and Braylee Grace Hoskins, siblings Sadie McGeorge, Joyce Reynolds, Carolyn Browning, Earl Lester Davis and Lloyd Thomas Davis Jr., as well as a host of many other relatives and friends too numerous to name, but all who will miss her so dearly.

The family of Julia Kay Hoskins will receive family from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., and friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Hunter officiating.

Interment will be private.
