Kathy Lynn Brambley, age 72, of Pineville, Kentucky, entered into eternal rest and was reunited with her beloved husband on March 26, 2024 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
She was born September 26, 1951 in Bell County, Kentucky to the late David and Nevada Hurst.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband of almost 50 years, Thomas Brambley.
Kathy was the most humble, kind-hearted soul you would ever meet. She was the true definition of a living angel. Always soft spoken and selfless, nothing gave Kathy more joy than caring for those she loved. A proud Wife, Mother and Grandmother, Kathy’s family was most important to her, and she showed them through her love and care. She also enjoyed singing in church and worshipping the Lord and cooking for her family. At the young age of 22, she married the loved of her life, Thomas, after he returned from the Army. Together they built a happy home and a wonderful life, raising their two sons, Adam and Chad. Kathy and Thomas would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this previous December, but due to his untimely passing in October, they were unable to reach that milestone. However, we can find comfort in knowing they will now celebrate together eternally to be separated no more.
Left to cherish her memory, sons Adam (Sequoyah) Brambley and Chad (Brooklyn) Brambley, grandchildren Finley Brambley, Skylar Gray, brothers Wayne and Sue Hurst, , Steven and Delores Hurst, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family of Kathy Brambley will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Blue Ridge Baptist Church, Pineville, Kentucky.
Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating.
Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2024 at the Hurst Cemetery, where Kathy will be laid to rest by her beloved husband, Thomas, on his birthday. Family and friends will meet there at the cemetery at 2:45 p.m.
