KENNETH CLARK Obituary

Kenneth R. Clark passed away on August 13, 2025, at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Kenneth was born and lived in Claiborne County his entire life. He was a member of the Summey’s Bridge Missionary Baptist Church. He was a Former Claiborne County Commissioner and was proud to be known as the voice of the Cumberland Gap Panthers.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his Father Rev. Fuller Clark and Mother Bertha Clark of Harrogate, TN, Brothers Don McCoy of Harrogate, TN, Fred Clark of Dayton, OH, Edd Clark of Arthur, TN, L.C. Clark of Dayton, OH, and Fuller Clark Jr. of Louisville, KY, Sisters Marie Greer of Cumberland Gap, TN, Opal Powell of Cumberland Gap, TN, Corrina Clemons of Harrogate, TN, Ruth Greer of Dayton, OH, Edith Massengale of Dayton, OH, and Ruby Hill of Lafollette, TN.

Kenneth is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 58 years Janet Sue Clark, two beautiful Daughters whom he loved dearly. Kimberly and Randy Ott of Blount County, TN, and Aimee and Jay Upton of Cumberland Gap, TN, three Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren who he truly adored and could never do anything wrong, Tara Cole (Zach) of Blount County, TN, Erin Ott (Liam Meury) of Blount County, TN, and Jayson Upton (Samantha Brock) of Cumberland Gap, TN, great-grandchildren Natalie Stullenburger and Griffen Cole, Kenneth had two special nephews John “Binky” Clemons and Brian Clark and a host of nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends.

The family of Kenneth Clark will receive friends on Tuesday August 19, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

 Funeral Services for Kenneth Clark will be Tuesday August 19, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, Kentucky with Rev. John Hatfield and Rev. Mitchell Keck officiating.

Graveside Services will immediately follow in the Hooper Cemetery in Cumberland Gap, Tn. Pallbearers will be Zeth Clemons, Jonathan Clemons, Nicholas Neverstitch, Trey “Bubba” Lake, Jacob Bullins, and Jayson Upton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Tuttle, Jackie West, Jay Epperson, and John Tuttle.

 Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is honored to serve the Clark family.
