KODY ANN HURST

Kody Ann Hurst, 28, of Frakes, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

She was born June 26, 1995 in Jellico, Tennessee to Bobby and Melissa Hurst.  Kody loved spending time with her kids, she loved hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.  Kody had a heart of gold, and loved any & all animals.  She especially enjoyed listening to Stevie Ray Vaughn with her dad.

Kody was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents Beulah Dixon Cobb and P.O. Cobb, Paternal Grandparents Hiram Hurst and Roseann Hurst and uncle Donnie Hurst.

She is survived by her husband Rusty Hurst, daughter Leslie Ann Nelson, sons Rosco Wayne Nelson and Christopher Bobby Lynn Hurst, parents Bobby Hurst and Melissa Cobb, aunt Tammy and husband Chris Rife, Lonie Cobb, Lisa, Brenda and Joyce, uncles James Cobb, Clint, Randy, Michael and Herman, special friend Lindsey Cox and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the Hope United Methodist Church in Frakes, Kentucky.

All other services will be private.

In lieu of flowers the donations can be made directly to the family for Kody’s 3 precious children she leaves behind.
