LAMANDA HUNTER Obituary

Lamanda Rose Hunter (Maggard), 54 of Appalachia, VA passed away Monday, August 23, 2021.

She was born April 15, 1967 in Middlesboro, KY to the late James Edward and Patsy Humfleet Maggard. Lamanda was of the Baptist Faith and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Left to mourn her passing is her son Chris Hunter (Norma Bodine), daughters Hope Barnett (Donnie Barnett), Tiffany Hunter (Phil Huntington), Ashley Collins (Arthur Turner), grandchildren Blake Barnett, Landon Hunter, Caden Howard, Jacob Collins, Jeremiah Collins, brothers Wayne Maggard, Timothy Maggard. Special niece Brittany Jones and her husband Tony and their children Cameron Maggard and A.J. Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

At Lamanda’s request, she was cremated by the Green Hills Funeral Home. The family will announce a Celebration of Life service at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Green Hills Funeral Home, to help with final expenses.
